Borealis™ Gen 5

Sale price$3,990.00 SGD 5.0

Five generations in, built to last in the tropics. The Borealis is TUNDRA's all-in-one chiller and heater, refined across five generations of real-world use. It cools a plunge to 3°C and heats it to 42°C on demand, holds the temperature, and keeps the same water clean for weeks. It is engineered to survive Singapore's heat, rain and humidity.

What sets Gen 5 apart:

  • Commercial-grade pump (up to 34 L/min, 170 W). Most budget chillers use a ~20 L/min, ~88 W pump that runs hot and wears out. Stronger, cooler-running flow means faster turnover, clearer water and more reliable temperature holding.
  • Corrosion-built for outdoors. Black powder-coated stainless-steel housing, a stainless-steel heat exchanger, and IPX4 weatherproofing, so heat, humidity and rain don't rust it out.
  • More robust piping: fewer stress points and leaks over years of daily use.
  • Cools and heats (3 to 42°C): run it as an ice bath or a warm soak.
  • Two engines: Gen 5 Pro (1.0 HP) and Elite (2.0 HP) to match your tub and our climate.
  • Fits any tub: TUNDRA plunge, custom pool or standard bathtub, via quick-connect hoses.
  • Ozone + 20-micron filtration, Wi-Fi app control, transport wheels, plug-and-play on a standard socket, energy-saving mode.
  • Backed locally: 1-year warranty and an in-house Singapore team.

01

Built for the tropics

Singapore’s heat, rain and humidity destroy cheap chillers. The Borealis has a black powder-coated stainless-steel housing, a stainless-steel heat exchanger for corrosion resistance, and IPX4 weatherproofing — built to live outdoors and keep running.

02

Commercial-grade pump

Gen 5 uses a commercial pump rated up to 34 L/min at 170 W.
Most budget chillers run a ~20 L/min, ~88 W pump or lower that runs hot or wears out. Stronger, cooler-running flow means faster turnover and steadier temperatures, year after year.

03

Cools and heats, 3–42°C

One unit, two uses. Chill a plunge down to 3°C, or heat it to 42°C for a warm soak — with precise temperature holding either way. Useful all year in our climate.

What the research says

9

Randomised trials in a meta-analysis that found cold water immersion after exercise reduced muscle soreness compared with passive rest.1

11-15 °C

Water temperature that gave the best soreness results in these trials, with 11 to 15 minutes in the water.1

5 min

In 20 °C water raised positive mood scores in a study of 33 adults.2
