I grew up in Germany, where contrast therapy was part of my everyday life, long before it became a trend — hot and cold showers, winter swims in lakes, time in the sauna, and rolling in the snow after.
When I moved to Singapore in 2019, working in the automotive engineering industry and training regularly, contrast exposure remained part of my routine. But the context changed.
What passed as “cold” showers in Singapore was often around 28°C, so I began experimenting with cold exposure using a chest freezer together with friends.
It worked — but it felt wrong.
It wasn’t safe.
It wasn’t hygienic.
It wasn’t designed for daily use.
And it didn’t belong in a home.
At the time, there were no dedicated ice bath solutions available locally.

I’ve worked with technical systems since I was 15 years old.
I’m a certified electrician and an electrical engineer by training, and my career in automotive engineering eventually brought me to Singapore.
That background meant I understood the machines inside out.

I built the first unit for myself.
Then I took it to fitness events - often for free. “Use it. If you like it, create content.”
At the beginning I handled everything myself - marketing, sales, deliveries, maintenance.
My living room became a workshop.
That phase shaped how we build to this day.

From inflatable ice baths to solid, permanent installations.
From private homes to high-traffic commercial environments.
From cold-only setups to full contrast therapy systems.
As demand grew, so did our scope.
We added infrared saunas, traditional heat, and integrated recovery environments - because recovery doesn’t happen at one temperature.
Today, TUNDRA systems are used in homes, gyms, recovery clubs, and at international events.

We tested our systems in the real world.
High-traffic events.
Commercial environments.
Daily use with no margin for failure.
From local fitness and wellness events to international stages, TUNDRA systems were used repeatedly — by professional athletes and everyday people alike.
From moments of peak performance to first-time cold exposure, the systems had to work for everyone.
- HYROX – Singapore & Hong Kong
- ATP events – Munich (BMW Open), Hamburg (Bitpanda Open), Stuttgart (BOSS Open), Brussels (BNP Paribas Fortis European Open), Hong Kong (Bank of China Hong Kong Tennis Open)
- LIV Golf – Singapore & Hong Kong
- And many other wellness activations across Asia & Europe

My own morning ritual is simple.
Heat. Cold. Light. Stillness.
These moments don’t just support physical recovery.
They create clarity — mentally and emotionally.
That’s what TUNDRA is built to support.
Every day.
Over time.
