HYROX Hong Kong 2026: Inside the Standard Chartered Recovery Lounge

HYROX Hong Kong 2026 was the biggest the city has ever staged — more than 19,500 athletes from over 60 countries filling AsiaWorld-Expo across three days, more than double the previous edition. When that many people race 8 km of running and eight functional stations, recovery isn't a nice-to-have. It's where the day is won or lost.

TUNDRA powered the Standard Chartered Recovery Lounge — the place every racer wanted to be the moment they crossed the line.

What we brought

A full recovery floor built for race-day volume: communal cold plunges to flush the legs, TUNDRA FLUX compression boots for the seated recharge, and TUNDRAgun percussion therapy — staffed by our recovery guides and running non-stop through every wave of finishers.

From first-timers to elites

Thousands of racers rotated through the lounge — and so did some of the sport's best. Korean HYROX athletes Stungun Kim and Hong Beom-Seok used the plunges to reset between efforts, the same cold water the weekend warriors were stepping into a lane over.

Cold done together — the lounge turned recovery into the social high point of the race.

Why it matters

HYROX is built on a simple idea: fitness for everybody, measured the same way everywhere. Recovery is the other half of that equation, and it's the half most people skip. Seeing thousands of racers — from first-timers to elites — step into a cold plunge or pull on a pair of compression boots is exactly the culture we want to build.
